My dongle broke for my charge 2 and now I can't get my new dongle, to sync with my watch.
What am I dong wrong?
Also can you work this on a computer and mobile or is it specific to one or the other?

I will gladly assist you with your new dongle. Is this an official Fitbit USB dongle? Your Charge 2 doesn't come with one when you buy it new so this is why I ask. You can definitely use a phone to sync your tracker with it. The dongle only works with computers and you can find troubleshooting instructions for both mobile and pc here.

The watch was a replacement one.
I had a charge HR before that.
When I got the Charge 2 I asked them for a dongle and Fitbit sent me one.
This dongle broke so they replaced it.
It was fine with the dongle I had - but, I've put the new dongle in and it won't sync.
