@eleclady It went quick because the store guarantees a new replacement if there are defected problem of the device itself within 7 days purchased. Hope you will get your replacement soon.
@nmr1115 If you tried everything other people sugguested but still not working, I sugguest you to bring your band to the store and let them test it for you. If they could not fix it, then ask for a new replacement.

Finally recieved my replacement Charge 2 and all is working! I was without a tracker for 3 plus weeks due to time time it took to get my return authorization from fitbit, get my defected charge 2 returned back and a replacement one delieved. But al least now I receive notification and vibration with alerts. The weaker vibration is not a problem for me.

I have the same problem. I got a different charge 2 and same issue - call notification works , text notification does not. Fitbit says its and Apple security problem. Apple says its a fitbit problem. I'm ready to be done with the fitbit and go to a Garmin. More money, but not near the issues.

I get both calendar and call notifications but not text. I got text messages for the first few days but they just stopped. I have tried the restart of the Fitbit and re pairing it with my iPhone 6. Anything else I can try before I return it?

Waiting for my third charge 2 now. First one worked fine for aobut 6 weeks then no longer vibrated. They sent me out a replacement without needing to send in the old unit. The new unit worked great for about 4 weeks then stopped vibrating altogether again. This time I had to send mine in first then they will send out a replacement. I certaintly hope they figure out what is causing the vibration to stop after some time has passed. I like the device, but if it happens once more I am thinking about trying out the new Samsung fit gear 2.

I finally found the problem with my iPhone 6. In notifications for the Fitbit make sure that "Show Notifiication In Center" is on.

Hi All,
I have recently has an issue with no notifications or no vibration for hourly activity.
I found out that with the new firmware 22.48.14 we got new things in setting on Fitbit App (I have iOS)
I entered setting --> Menu items and I added Notification to be available on my charge 2
When I did it i noticed that even though my App was saying Notificatins are ON actually on a dvice there were OFF. I turned them ON on my device by holding the side button. From that time now it works.
Hope that helps

Thank you so much Emili! I played with this thing for hours. Using the message+ setting is what finally worked.

I had the same issue with it being turned off once this update was done, how odd. The only thing now is my Charge 2 after only being used for less than 90 days needs more frequent charging which I don't think should be happening so soon. Glad I read your post to figure out my problem as waiting for the next available agent is like NEVER...

Well it took them over 2 weeks to send me my new unit (After they told me they would expedite delivery, which did not happen.) They had told me to send everything back to them so they could test the unit in order to figure out what went wrong with it, so I send them everything. Today all I got back was the actual unit, no wrist band and no charger so after waiting all this time I still can't wear it or charge it.

Thank you emili..... On my Samsung Galaxy S5, I was not able to receive text notifications.... until.... I put my phone on sound, then used the side button to run the sound all the way down to vibrate. It worked. When I had had the phone on vibrate using the sound icon, it wouldn't work.

I thought I had the same problem until I realised I accidentally switched my notifications off on my charge2 by holding the side button. Hold your side button again and it will turn in back on. Hope this works

Mine has been working fine for a few weeks now.. until today!
I have tried restarting both my phone and fitbit, turning off all notifications and even the bluetooth- unpaired etc and nothing at all works!! but the weird thing is the silent alarms still work?? just none of the reminders to move or txt notifications etc! What can i do?
Solution: my fitbit wasnt showing the notifications anymore when i scrolled through the different things that are on display- so I went through the app and made it display again and sure enough the notifications appeared again but said 'off' so turned that back on- sooo relieved! I was worried my fitbit wasnt working anymore! thanks so much

I cant believe it was such a simple thing. Had no idea I could turn notifications off with the side button, had replaced my band and i guess I accidentally turned them off. Thanks !!!
