Not counting floors

I got a new charge 2 after my previous one finally stopped working. I fully charged it and connected it to my account. Everything is fine except it won’t count floors. I tried the soft reset as well as checking the vent/sensor hole to make sure it was clear and after 2 days, nothing... I have 2 flights of stairs in my home that I use 10+ times a day...I hope we can get it going! Thank you 🙂
