My husband bought my Fitbit several months ago .. one morning I attempted to check my sleep and there was nothing there. It wouldn't sync with my android phone. I received an email stating I would have to pay $10/mo or $89/yr for the updates. I paid the yearly fee and now I'm wondering if I've been scammed. I'm currently watching a tv commercial for Fitbit Versa 2 and the representative is saying you automatically receive updates. Has anyone else have to pay?

On my 3rd different Fitbit and I have never had to pay for any updates. Not sure what is going on with being requested to pay for your updates, but it sounds like a scam. ☹️
