My phone isn't listed as one of the compatible phones. I have been having trouble getting the heart rate to sync and suspect that is why. Does that mean I just can't use the heart rate tracking function? Because that's why I bought the charge hr

I have a Huawei Y7 and am looking to purchase an Inspire HR. If I have successfully downloaded the Fitbit app, does this mean I will be able to use the tracker with my phone, or is there more to it than that? I don't want to get the tracker and then it not work with my phone.

I have a Samsung A9 and it won't connect at all, as it's not a compatible phone, I dont have a computer , so does that mean I've now wasted all that money due to updating my phone?

Did you ever find a solution? I have the same trouble. I bought a samsung galaxy a9 this summer and my Fitbit charge 2 worked for a few months and not morning work! No steps recorded, no heart rate etc.

Hi

I tried everything including the help on webchat, trying to find a way round it but there wasn't one.  Even the new Fitbits aren't compatible, but no mention in any adverts you may have problems, I just don't get how Samsung is a popular phone yet Fitbit haven't sorted the the tech, so its compatible for all samsung phones!! The help advice was to either use a second phone, why would I do that as I have a phone and it wouldn't pick up my messages or calls as it wouldn't have my sim in it, or use a computer but again that's no good if I'm out and about!!  Its absolutely ridiculous.  Their ads are very misleading, as my husband was going to buy me a newer version as he thought it would then work with my phone and the Fitbit are really pushing their products as its Christmas, but I double checked and it's all Fitbits that are compatible and the standard response is, we are updating the tech all the time so keep checking to see!!  That doesn't help if you if you have one already, what are you meant to do in the mean time with it!

So in the end I bought a non brand smart fitness watch, which had all the fitness tracking plus messaging ect included.  It does the job, was cheaper, is compatible with my phone and I can track my fitness now.

Will sell my Fitbit and wont bother with the company again, if I'm honest.

I had problems with my mobile and re-set it to factory settings. I am now trying to download fitness app again and it's now saying its incompatible.  I got on to support which was a complete waste of time because they were absolutely useless. The thing is that the same fit was paired and app downloaded on my mobile for two years. I am never going to buy this fitbit again, I will also go for a cheaper version and hope for the best
