Phone won’t sync and figures missing from today screen

Went against my better judgement and updated mine and my daughters fitbits with the new update. My daughters, which i bought for her birthday last month doesn’t sync properly anymore, takes several goes and phone has to be very close to watch. Mine is even worse in that it rarely syncs without several attempts, tonight i have tried four times and not working, have turned phone off and on again, bluetooth off and on again, even uninstalled and reinstalled app. Also my today screen disappears showing only a few greyed out symbols.

i am so annoyed at this as we use our fitbits daily and it’s so frustrating that they have gone from being really quick to sync to totally unreliable.

Let me help you with your Charge 2 not syncing and the Fitbit app not displaying the data. For the syncing issues I suggest you try the following:

 

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on. 
  • You can find additional suggestions here.

For the Fitbit app please log out from the app, restart your phone and log back in.
