Post run map not loading

Hi, I run regularly and use the run mode on my charge 2 with the app open and connected. Post run the stats and map normally load automatically however, yesterday, after syncing, I just have a blank screen with the ‘wheel’ constantly whirling. In addition I cannot see my pace mile by mile  even though I have an average pace for the whole run recoded.

Hey @Oliviachamp, welcome aboard! Don't you worry, let me help you out with this not loading map issue. But first, could you please post a screenshot of this blank screen you are getting on the Fitbit app? And can you please tell me, are you getting the rest of your data like your steps, distance, calories, etc.?

Mine does a similar thing but breaks my workout into sections as if it ignored gps tracking and auto recognized my workout.

Hey @Wiltbilt, welcome aboard! Man Happy What is the activity that you are doing? Is it your map loading and never shows up? If you also have GPS issues, like it won't connect all the time, please take a look at the requirements and troubleshooting in this help article to fix it. .

The device connects to my phone and gps accurately. It also keeps fairly accurate statistics during my workout. The problem manifests after I select "finish". I am connected to wifi and remain connected to the phone bluetooth at the finish so the data should adequately record.

Thanks for your reply @Wiltbilt! Now let me just confirm this. When you say that your workout breaks up, are you talking about just the map or the entire section where your data should appear? Could you please post a screenshot so I can take a look and further investigate this?

I have the exact same problem.  Especially for long distance runs or walks.  This seems to be an issue since 2017.  When is this finally going to get fixed?!

Hey @Friskybilly, it is great to see you around more often! Robot Happy No, to be honest with you, we don't have a specific date for this to be fixed. With every app's update, improvements are made, so this might get resolved with next update.

I'm also having the same issue. I can see a small version of the map on my computer, but when i click to see it, nothing loads. I have the same loading screen on my phone as the screenshots from this thread. I went on a hike a few months ago and have no issues loading that map. Is there any way to get a hold of the map considering the data is there since the small version of the map can be seen on the Dashboard.

I experienced this issue with my run yesterday. I have a Fitbit Charge 4. The wheel is just spinning, just like in the example here. 

Does this mean that the bug has not been fixed in 2 years?? Or does anyone have a solution for this. It is very important for me to see lap time after a run.

I am also having this problem.... Looks like fit bit havnt done much to resolve this issue, if it has been around since 2017?!

I have the versa 2 and it's now stopped loading some of my previous runs (which it has previously loaded). Very frustrating

Hi HeydyF, I noticed a day or so ago...that a map is not displaying with my jogging information in the 'Activity' -> 'Run' sections.  I can view the 'Run' activity on my iPhone; however, when I select the 'Activity' -> 'Run' from my laptop, the page does not / will not load.  Why are maps now showing up?  Any would Fitbit release a capability to the community that is not working?  Do you have an ETA on the fix?

Same issue. My charge 4 will not load my workouts on my android phone. My son's charge 4 still works but ever since the Flying Pig marathon, mine has been Very glitchy. (Including not loading badges when I was trying to show my 11YO son our achievements)

Has this bug ever been fixed? I have this problem all the time and it's very frustrating. Sometimes it works, sometimes just spins like the original asker posted. I restart my phone, delete and reinstall the app, no fix.
