Distance from Fitbit to Phone

I just set my Versa up and it will not sync more than 5 feet from my phone.  Suggestions?

I should rephrase that....it won't call THROUGH my Fitbit unless I'm less than 5' away from my phone.  It will get messages, etc farther

I'm not sure what is meant by call through the Fitbit. what or who are you calling .

Do you only sync through one device, syncing a tracker through multiple phones or devices can cause interferance between them. 

Let's say if a user syncs through both a phone and a tablet. if both or nearby the tracker could be talking to the tablet and will not be able to respond to a request to sync through the phone.

My phone can be in my hand and I will not get notifications...and it won't sync.  Haha...50 feet, me arse!

It sounds like their is a different problem @SUZIESPITFYRE.

Not knowing what phone your having issues with, I suggest looking at fitbits help.

I was having the same issue I just bought it on Friday and couldn't get it to syn so I called Fitbit and they fixed the problem for me. I tried doing what it said online and it got me nowhere. I literally just got off the phone with them 15 minutes ago and now it syncs and gets notifications. I hope this helps. I have their number if you would like it
