Screen, Charge, Sleep/DND, Time, Button - All issues I'm experiencing

Hi- Started with DND/SLEEP popping up on screen. I thought I was touching the screen some unknown way. I wasn't. After about a week of that, TIME on my clock changed while I was wearing it. No idea how or why. About 2 days later, the screen wouldn't turn on after charging, but would vibrate. Screen eventually turned on but showed BATTERY was only at 40% after 3 hours on charger. Fitbit app and Charge 3 couldn't (can't) SYNC and Fitbit APP said battery was empty. I changed charging base, cord, and even other locations but nothing has worked. I've been in a loop of black screen, no vibration, sudden vibration, unable to press button, sudden recogbhappy face, line across the black screen, and if I take it off and put it back on charger enough times, the screen pops up. TIME is incorrect again, will not sync with Fitbit App, and the DND/Sleep pops up again, can't scroll away from it. I also can't get the button to recognize I'm pressing it for 10 seconds for it to restart. The battery screen popped up and shows a 98% charge. This is a new thing, I haven't been able to know what my charge actually is at for many days. So I'm having all the problems now. Please let me know how you can help me fix my Charge 3. Thank you!

Hi there! I am having the self same problems, I recognise all of the things that you describe. This has been going on for the past 6 days - intensely annoying and frustrating. The device is effectively useless at the minute. A result of uploading the Firmware update?

 

Even worse there seems to be no way of getting direct support / help....I am not on Twitter and have no intention of signing up to that.

 

 I tried www.help.fitbit.com as per warranty booklet and that came back as ‘server not found’

Hello Fitbit- I have not received any response to any of the issues stopping me from using my Charge 3. Please respond.

Hi there!

 

My FitBit Charge 3 two weeks in and still consistently malfunctioning as outlined above - the core problem seems to be that it is unable to retain its battery charge. Went to bed last night with it charged 100%, get up this morning and an email is sitting here telling me the battery is low!! I know! dead as a dodo.

 

This is getting me nowhere though, nice as it is to be in a ‘community’ and have the comfort of knowing that I am not the only one with a device (only 4 months old) that is currently not fit for purpose what I would like is practical support from FitBit to fix the issue - or replace this knackered one - so yes, please respond

I commented on another message and only received a response on that other thread. I'm not sure why I don't receive a response here. 

Either way, the response was useless and very impersonal and might just be a cut and paste response or a bot who goes through these messages and drops a few lines of words.

I've moved on to Garmin.

Too many issues with Fitbit. I also had a Fitbit years ago and that caused skin issues on my arm. A US Government Agency in 2014-2015 paid and interviewed me for my Fitbit, because Fitbit was being investigated for inappropriate materials in their bands causing skin issues.

I gave Fitbit another chance. Mistake. Super unreliable of an experience overall after 2 different devices.

I am sure you are right, I am going to check the Garmin range out. Sooooo disappointing that FitBit think so little of their customers
