Hello .. mine had 1 month left in the warranty so they replaced it (less the band). Bottom line there is no fix other than replacement. Based on my past history with Fitbit and our Aria scale being out of warranty (with issues) .... as long as you are in warranty you are OK ... if not
they are not much help

I followed these instructions but didn’t help. It is still jumping back and forth to the different screens.

Hello,

I woke up this morning and my fitbit was showing a 0% charge which was odd as it was well charged before I went to bed. I pulled in my Charge 3 fitbit but since this morning, it's not charging, not syncing and now it's flashing Screen Wake/Notifications to the time which is still at 7:58 am. I tried cleaning the posts as instructed on your website, still nothing. I tried re-starting it; didn't work. It would not shut off. I unplugged and replugged. Now, it showed me a happy face, then one flash of the SW/N message and then, a flat line across the screen?? What's happening?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi you’ve contacted a customer not a customer advisor. I had to send mine back as it was in warranty and I was sent another unit which has worked fine. I found on this community that the fault your experiencing has happened to many FitBit Charge 3’s. I hope you sort it out.

Unfortunately I think that was your Fitbit saying goodbye, Lol! You'll probably need to call customer service, the number should be on your app. They were very helpful and sent me out a replacement in a couple of days.

Hello,

Once I finally got a hold of a human at Fitbit, they told me to just mail the tracker back to them and they replaced it As I still had a month left on my warranty .. I had to take off the watch band and send only the tracker.

They never explained what the issue was. If yours is out of the warranty period, I doubt they will do a replacement. It seems a year on any of their trackers is about all you get out of them.

As a side note There’s a reason Best Buy stopped their no questions extended replacement insurance on Fitbit trackers... they were losing money.
I’m not one to buy extended insurance on items but in the case of Fitbit I did and ended up using it quite a lot until it no longer was an option. Was much easier to return/replace the broken ones at Best Buy vs trying to get a hold of Fitbit.
