I tried to reboot my watch, change the clock face but the device is still blank. However, it is still syncing. Please help,

I have had problems with my charge 3 with the screen losing its brightness and sometimes half of the screen being brighter that the other half. I have just hat a online chat with Fitbit and was told to reboot and sync it. It didn't fix it. They then told me it was faulty and would look at replacing it. Asked where it was purchased. Was told the store wasn't an authorized seller so would help any further. I have seen in the forum that it is a programme fault and they were looking at fixing it. When I passed this onto the person in the chat they said yes they were having some problems but because imine was purchased from an unauthorized seller they couldn't help. The unauthorized seller is a well known Australasian Company so not sure what to believe.
