Started out looking like a regular graph you could read. Now only shows lines from top to bottom...no graph..no way to really see sleep pattern.
I have restarted several times. Disconnected from bluetooth, logged out app and restarted phone. Still didn't revert to graph..
I have found that if it does not record the sleep pattern graph correctly, I can delete that info and manually reenter my sleep pattern...most times the correct graph will come up. Once in a while i have to enter it a couple times before it registers the correct graph image.
I just tried this on mine after getting the old graph for last nights sleep. Worked perfectly. It recalculated & popped up with the new graph with broken down sleep cycles. Thanks for the tip!
I have the same log as you I always thought that showed I had a Great sleep!!! I didn’t think this was a problem . There are some nights I have the graph with lite sleep Rem and deep sleep.
Best AnswerThe app should answer your question as to why your not seeing sleep stages. I explained in my post above how to check for the reason.
Once we know why, we can help.
What should I know about sleep stages?
My experience is that nothing helps, just wait and one day it will show all details again.
Sometimes it's 2 days, sometimes 2 weeks, but I really think the problem is somewhere at Fitbit and you can try whatever you want, but nothing helps.
Now I'm in a period it doesn't show the details again, 3 days now.
Best AnswerMy experience has been to adjust the band usually will then give sleep stages.
Sometimes it is caused by me laying on the arm and resreixring blood flow.
I am having the same problem. I am on a cruise in the Indian Ocean but all other parts of my IPad work, just not my sleep log. It used to be on a rainbow display but now only lines.
Best Answer@Gboc you say that your getting simplifies sleep, as noted above, the first thing to do is see if Fitbit knows why
Tap on the affected Sleep record, below the sleep graph should be why..
Best AnswerI’m having the exact same problem. It seems as if the data is there. But it’s not available. Since we can see the total length of each stage, just not the stages throughout the night. So annoying! I emailed Fitbit. They didn’t have a solution, but forwarded the email to someone in the statistics department in Fitbit. Still waiting for a response.
Best AnswerThanks for that information. A few of my sleep periods had been split into two and I'd already googled how to combine them into one, and that normally worked fine, but this time it still wasn't showing the stages as waves, just lines. I wondered if I deleted the log and entered the sleep and wake times manually for that period, whether the pattern would then appear. I figured if it didn't work, I hadn't lost anything as it was only one day, but it worked perfectly and the stages are now showing properly.
Best AnswerNormally sleep stages will only show when you let the tracker auto detect sleep, at least that is the official word. However some have reported that manually adding a sleep after the fact has given them stages.
As for convincing I do not worry about it not do I know of a way to do this,l. Sure one of the sleep periods could be deleted them the other period could be extended, but this is not a combine.
Best AnswerThe last three nights my fit bit registered my sleep on a straight line grid instead of the rem sleep wave cycle. After reading some of the comments I found that the fit bit itself explains why this happens. If you go on your app and touch the sleep box of the menu it will take you to your sleep summary. If you scroll down to the individual day bar graphs and touch the day in question, you will see Sleep Quality learn more. If you touch learn more you will get information on why your fit bit tracked your sleep the way it did. I found that the 3 nights in question on my tracker were also nights that I had trouble sleeping. You have to be asleep without moving for 3 hours to get the rem sleep waves. I hope that helps.
what is the x supposed to mean? I.e. 2x

Best AnswerI awoke to finding no graph with the REM, Deep sleep, Light sleep graph. The "graph" it showed me isn't what I am used to and I did not get a sleep rating number.
How did you fix this problem?
How do you manually re-enter your sleep pattern?
