I have for some months been observing the 'sleepstages' graph report produced by the Fitbit app for the Charge 2. On each graph that describes my night's sleep, the graph shows (in addition to the light-blue, medium-blue, deep-blue and bright-red lines that represent my 'REM', 'light' and 'deep' sleep and 'awake' periods during each night's rest) a varying number of very small red- 'markers' along the top of the graph. These markers seem to be randomly distributed across the 'sleep period', and align with and are the same colour as, the 'awake' indicator. However, these lines are much shorter than any of the more distinct 'awake' periods on the graph and they do not seem to be at all connected to the graph's 'sleep fluctuations' line.
The information that accompanies the Charge 2 app for this graph makes no reference to these markers, so I do not understand either what they are or mean.
I want to know what they are intended to represent - could you please tell me?

@Everardus_ron It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community! Thank you for your inquiry. These red lines are brief awake periods detected by your device. You can read more about them here.
Let me know how it goes.
