Hi!

My stepson have narcolepsy, and need to track his sleep. I borrowed him my Fitbit Charge 2 to help him because its difficult to remember if you wake up it not during the night.

The first day it worked fine. Showing the stages and prosent etc. But today it did not show up like that. I tryed to find some answers on the web without luck.

I use "begin sleep" when he goes to bed, I did that both days. I added some photos to show what I mean.

What I wonder is why is it like that? When I used it befor I was also like this. Some days It show, some days it dont.

The app is updated, Fitbit is updated. I have tryed a reset, reinstall of app but nothing changes.

@Christonn93 Welcome! It's great to see you around!

Let me help you with the missing sleep stages on your sleep logs. You may not get sleep stages for the following reasons:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your device to bed). For more information on automatic sleep tracking, see How do I track my sleep?
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.

Let me know how it goes.
