Splits don't show on map after sync

Dear Community,

It is the first time this happens. I ran more than 8 kms today. GPS, wifi, all things were working properly (I often look at my watch during run, nothing unusual happened)

At home, after sync, it shows only 1.57 kms and no splits. The time, the calories, the heart rate zones are all correct. But the map still shows wrong distance.

It is very annoying, as usually I don't run that much, just 5-6 kms. I wanted to see that 8 kms on my map to encourage me for future runs.

I synced multiple times, restart my phone, etc, nothing helps.

I don't know if it will fix itself after some time?  And what should I do to avoid the same problem in the future?

I have this Charge 2 for about 2 years now, it works well. I run every other day, it is the first time this happened.

All help or advice would be useful 🙂

@TitaniaBell Welcome! Thanks for being part of our Community! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

Let me help you with your missing data and thank you for sharing the screenshots. Since the data hasn't appeared after syncing your device it will most like remain this way. Still you can try refreshing the link between your phone and your tracker to help improve the GPS signal reception by doing the following:

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device
  • Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  • You can find troubleshooting instructions here.

Let me know how it goes.
