My Charge 4 says I'm 10,000 steps over my goal (10,000 steps) and I have taken approximately 4000 steps. It's been doing this for a week or so.

Can we try one more attempt at possibly solving this issue? Can you try logging out of the Fitbit App, turning your mobile device off for 1-2 mins, turn your mobile device back on then log back into your account? Let me know how it goes. Hopefully this is the answer. Let me know, I’ll be around 😉

Hello @bigwillt

It’s possible you just need to restart your Charge 4. You will not lose any data doing a restart. Look here to see how it’s properly done: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1186.htm

😃 I hope this answered your question. Please let me know if it helped

The Charge is counting the steps correctly, the goal is just not right.

Hello again @bigwillt

Oh I see, thank you for clarifying. Is it possible that you accidentally changed your daily goal total in the Fitbit App. Open your Fitbit App, tap your profile picture then scroll to and tap Activity & Wellness. Now tap daily activities. Look here to see if your daily step goal is correct. If not change it then sync your Fitbit to accept the changes.
Please let me know if this fixed the issue 😉

I actually ended up uninstalling and reinstalling the app before I saw your post, but that seemed to fix it. I did not get the premature goal met notification yesterday.
