Charge 2 hasn't synced up with my phone since the end of august. I've tried everything to try to get it to do it but it just wont. It needs an update but it wont do that either. Any tips?

That is when mine went down, my partner managed to reset the device but I think we had to uninstall and reinstall the app and lost loads of data

I have the same issue. Can't install update steps and sleep not recording. My phone can't pair with my fit bit. Would hate to have to delete app and start all over again.

So mine initially stopped syncing on 28th August, I hadn't updated at that point and thought that was the issue but my phone/ the app was not picking up the Fitbit. After my partner got it back up and running last week it stopped syncing again today. I uninstalled then reinstalled the app on my phone (Nokia 5) then restarted my phone. It then synced when prompted on the notifications on my phone so all synced now but no idea why it had stopped again. Looking at previous posts on here it looks like it's a general problem though and that these are built to become obsolete in a few years, unsurprisingly in our throwaway culture. It's a shame because this has been a useful tool but I've had it less than 2 years, I would have expected better longevity, not everyone wants the newest model of everything as soon as it's released...

I've got the same problem with my charge hr. I've done all the steps they said to fix it but nothing seems to help 😞

I've tried all of the above! It synced up last night but it's not syncing again today, I dont fancy going out to buy a new one just yet as I've only had it little over a year!

Mine stopped logging on 24th August, I just checked then it started syncing again on 27th September so I lost a month essentially but otherwise, it's been ok up until the 7th, counts steps, logs activity and sleep. I don't use mine for text or phone call notifications so can't comment on that , as it seems to be another thing failing for others, am just hoping I'm not going to have to keep going through uninstalling/ reinstalling the app etc. on a regular basis
