Is there a way to track net carbs in the Fitbit app? I have started the keto diet and the app is showing me total carbs and I only want to know the net carbs.
If there isn't currently a way, how do I make a suggestion to add this feature??
Thanks in advance!!

Hey there @mamamunson, welcome to the forums! At this moment is not possible to track Net Carbs using the Fitbit app. However, I understand this is important to you and many people in the Community. Therefore, I'd recommend up-voting and commenting on Net carbs on Food log or NET carbs instead of Carbs feature suggestions since they're very similar of what you're looking and asking for. Feel free to add your vote and your comment, this is truly the best way to make your voice heard.
I hope this can be helpful, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply!

I agree. I just started the Keto WOE and I need to see what my net carbs are not the total. I can't track my macros correctly with the Fitbit app therefore can only use it for steps which is a shame.

Another vote for net carbs.

But in the Daily Totals section of the log, it tells you the Fiber count and the Carb count. Is it not possible to just subtract the Fiber from the Carb? It takes a little math but the numbers are there...
Unless that Fiber number is not the correct one??
I'd love to know if anyone else thinks this would work.

Yeah, I just do the math myself to get the net carb amount, but it's annoying that the breakout percentages (carbs, fat, and protein) are based on the total carbs so in order to figure out your actual percentages, you have to figure it out manually, which is a pain.

We need to calculate net carbs for let dieters .

A net carb option would be awesome. Right now, I subtract daily on my calendar... but I am too lazy to recalculate the percentages. Perhaps, to give your customers the most benefit, consider a setting preference where the user can track either net or gross carbs. Net Carbs coming from Gross Carbs minus Dietary Fiber.
Thanks!

Frustrating that the calories are reduced by serving size yet carbs are not. Makes it difficult to know how many carbs I’ve had for the day. Won’t be buying another Fitbit nor will I recommend it.

This would be such an easy feature to add, I can't believe they are not planning it.

I'm new to Fitbit tracking.
I actually want a keto version of a food plan included as an option to track my food.
It seems the only guideline on this tracker is the standard low fat/high carb. That way of eating does not work for me.
Can I track a low carb food plan? It seems if I do, this thing is going to tell me I'm eating too much fat. I haven't been tracking my food on here because of that.

Please reopen this issue. There are a lot of fitbit users who also want a net carb option for tracking.

Up vote to net carb tracking. I want to be able to track this all in one place. Please either do this within your app, or allow syncing to a net carb app that allows us to do this. MyFitnessPal doesn't track net carbs so I'm always over and it's discouraging.

Ridiculous that this is still not implemented, and the most recent post from a mod/admin in the idea feedback or whatever from 2 months ago says they have no plans for it. Your users have been asking for it for over 5 years. It can not be that hard to implement when pretty much every other tracking app on the planet has it. I used to use MFP and link it to FitBit but I can't even get MFP to run once installed now.

Curios to know if there has been any forward movement with making the NET crab tracking possible? Can fitbit users except changes in the application to track NET carbs? If so, what is the timeline? Any information or feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Please & Thank You

It was nice to find out that Fitbit counts Total Carbs as this is important for someone with diabetes. If/when you add the ability to count Net Carbs then please have it as a setting to choose between Total and Net. I need the Total Carb count. Thanks!

I just started keto also. I can't believe you can't track net carbs 😞
