Track Net Carbs on Fitbit app

Is there a way to track net carbs in the Fitbit app?  I have started the keto diet and the app is showing me total carbs and I only want to know the net carbs.

If there isn't currently a way, how do I make a suggestion to add this feature??

Thanks in advance!!

The keto diet is very popular and many people are on it. So why in the world is there not an option to track net carbs? Total carbs mean nothing to anyone on the keto diet. Net carbs mean everythingz

I use CarbManager for tracking my diet; connects to FitBit so you can view all in one place and your activities pass back to CarbManager. Not ideal but at least it is working for me.

I used CarbManager for a year to lose 80lbs on keto. It's definitely the best for net carb tracking. Post-keto I've kept the lbs off with Lose-it! It also syncs with fitbit. It's good for tracking calories and nutrients but it seems all its net carb calculations are higher than Carb Manager.

I think this would be a great feature, or at the very least have fiber also listed so we can subtract that from the total carbs. Thanks!

I went to keto and had similar results, lost about 60lbs. this app shortcoming drove me nuts back then.

I’d LOVE to see a net carbs option-posting regular carb counts on the food tracker is not at all encouraging to those following a low carb diet or keto WOE.

Didn’t know they could sync. That’s cool, thx.

Does it require a paid subscription to the carb manager ap? everytime I try to sync it it asks me to sign up for premium 30 bucks a year?

i answered my own question...not paying for the ap..FitBit get on the ball please, i need this to track net carbs for blood sugars.

They have a free version and a paid subscription.
I can’t remember if it was a free trial and then a subscription OR a free
version and a paid version.
I did try is free for a long time but I think the subscription offered more
so I decided to go ahead and pay the $40 for the year. My subscription is
up for renewal and I’m pretty sure I’ll renew it.
Maybe if you google it, it’ll explain better than me. Lol

I believe Carb Manger requires you to have their premium subscription to sync with other apps. I have the premium and it works well with Fitbit.

I download the carb manager and it sends their food diary to my fit bit. I just record it in the Carb Manager App and it automatically transfers to my Fitbit Food diary. Seems as big as Fitbit is they would have an option for us.  Net carbs counting is important to most of us. We shouldn't have to jump through hoops to get something so basic. That and alphabetizing the Frequent List if not have an option to delete things we only used once. It is like a dictionary gone wild. Caos for sure. I hate hunting things down.

I had to use carb manager too. Some of their foods do not have the correct nutrients so I try to scan everything. If I didn't have this Fitbit watch I'd go with someone besides fitbit and get everything in one place. I dont understand why they are behind in their app development. Did the just say...Meh..its good enough it takes too much energy to keep up with the other developers. If you don't keep up what your customers need then there will come a time people will move on to the next shiney thing and once people get what they want and need why go back.

I have realised since starting keto that the app gives me two different amounts for carbs? In my daily total for example today it says 40g however when I click 'nutrition facts' it is telling me 'total carbs 24.73g'

Is it deducting your fiber and giving you your net carbs, maybe?

It's 2021 and STILL no Net Carb Tracking? There have been soooooo many people asking for this since 2016. The moderators always say "Vote for the post" to make it happen. So many posts, so many votes, still not happening. KETO is so popular... it's shocking this hasn't been done yet.

It blows my mind that after 4+ years of people asking for this option FitBit still won't put it into the app. How many diets are out there that ask for more detailed information about carbs, fats, fiber, sugars, proteins, etc? How can they refuse such a simple request that so many people can use?
