My Fitbit app repeatedly fails to connect with the Charge 2, and thus can't update.

I have managed to fix the problem thank you. I uninstalled the app from my smartphone, restarted the wrist device and then told the Bluetooth to forget the Charge 2 device. Installing the app and going through the setup process seems to have had the desired effect. Thanks for your response though, it is nice to know that there are people out there.
