I haven't tried it but can you ensure a strong battery for updating if you had the tracker on charge while carrying out an update? Another note, why cant you charge your tracker by plugging it into a computer's USB port? Maybe that's just my computer. 😄

When I installed the firmware v.122 on my tracker, I pluged the tracker into the charger cable before starting the upgrade to make sure the battery didn't die during the upgrade. After the upgrade finished, I left it on the charger until it was fully charged.

 

I charge mine by plugging the charge cable into a laptop USB port if I'm at the laptop when it needs charging. Or, if I'm not at the laptop, I plug it into the same regular USB charger I use for the cell phone. Either will work.

I came to check the same: while charging, can it update its firmware?
