My HR charge recorded my active minutes from yesterday but did not update the day for "weekly exercise". I have my week starting on Monday. It shows Monday and Tuesday, I took Wednesday off and then worked out Thursday but it doesn't show Thursday

Don’t see my “I quit Fitbit” message written a few weeks ago.   Fitbit stopped logging in the midst of my treadmill walk.   Tried to buy a new battery. They’re not available!!!!  (Who does that?”). Fitbit!

So I un Fitbit. Bye

I same problem and it is very frustrating. I have tried every "fix"
suggested and still have the same problem. Fitbit replaced my Alta free of
charge and my new one is better but occasionally it still does not record
my exercise activity.

I wish I had a solution because I did not want to buy such a pricey watch!!

Keep updating and hopefully they will get the bug out!!

Thanks Rhonda!  It started updating when it shouldn't for a week and now it seems like it is working again - for a while!

Hello everyone! Thanks for your continuous participation on this thread regarding the weekly exercise goals not updating when using Charge HR.

Any exercise captured in your exercise history counts towards your goal. In this case, there are several ways in which you can track activities with Charge HR:

Any of these option should track your exercise and then it should show under the activity history and therefore update the weekly exercise goal.

If SmartTrack is not working for any reason, please perform a restart on Charge HR. Please use any of the other ways to track exercise for you to not loose your exercise goals.

Hope this helps. Keep me posted! Smiley Happy

For the LOVE OF GOD please stop recommending people manually log their exercise then the Fitbit Alta FAILS to perform. First of all -- this is a failure of your device. FIX IT! Second of all, when you manually log, it subtracts the active minutes and resets the calories burned. UNACCEPTABLE.

I agree completely, FITBIT needs to fix this problem and soon!! They Alta
should not have even been sold knowing this is a problem!! FIX IT or offer
everyone who has purchased it a refund!!

I have the same problem and it’s more than frustrating.. I’m in a challenge so it adds totals but won’t show my days I worked out.

I cant figure out to do this manually and your answers have not been helpful!!!

Hi - I found this thread today while trying to find out the exact same issue, although i have a FitBit Blaze. Yes, not cheap, and it has never logged the correct number of days per week I work out. I have my goal set at 4 days, last week I exceeded that by 1 and logged 5 days. However, my weekly report only shows that I worked out 1 day. I believe this is because during Spin class, I have to set my tracker to 'Spin' in order to get somewhat close to the steps/cals/mins, etc. However, it's still way off, but that's a different subject.

As others have stated, I also burn more calories and acquire more steps when I do NOT set the tracker to a specific exercise (except Spin). Therefore, it's not advantageous for me to do a manual entry each time I work out. This definitely needs to be fixed. Reading back through all the entries, this is now entering into one full year and still, the only response is to enter exercise manually, and is noted as 'resolved.' It is clearly NOT resolved....

FitBit....I didn't pay $250 for a product that 'kinda' works. This really needs to be fixed across ALL products - quite surprised this has been lingering/open for so long.

C'mon folks - you have a good product, get on the ball and fix the **ahem** software!!

I was having problems with it logging too.  I went to dashboard, weekly exercise, go to tools, goals and switch how many days you want your goal to be.  Go out of tools to save it then go back in and change your days back to the goal you want again.  That seemed to work with my Blaze

This still didn’t work for me :(. @SantiR  is there anyway Fitbit can go into the system and change it for me?? Obviously nothing is working and I don’t appreciate my tracker not tracking correctly. I don’t want to manually add it because then it adds more steps to my already counted steps which would not be accurate.

Mine started working after a while but I did notice putting anything in
manually doesn't work.

I have contacted Fitbit several times concerning this, they sent me a new
one and it did the same thing. Obviously they are selling a product that
does not do what they advertise it will do. I suggest you get a refund,
they said I had mine for to long.

I’ve probably had mine too long also. I have to constantly uninstall and reinstall the app. Then it updates. But it’s a pain. I noticed it happens more if I let the battery get in the red.

my activity minutes was 54 minutes and it updated on the dashboard but not on the weekly exercise. So it did not pull through and i also had to go update it manually so clearly their is a glitch somewhere which has nothing to do with MET

My fitbit 3 watch also shows me when i have reached my 10000 steps but i also notice when going into the app it displays less steps ?? so the 2 are not in sync

I'm having exactly the same problem with my Charge2.

It worked correctly for a year, but just this week, stopped updating weekly exercise on my pentagon. It still logs my active minutes, heart rate increase, and step count, but the pentagon no longer gets filled in.

I tried manually logging the exercise too, but just like the others on here said, that artificially increased my step count for the day, making my other stats inaccurate.

So what is the REAL solution? Come on, Fitbit! Fix this!

Sometimes it works sometimes not. I noticed if I let the battery charge get low and the. Recharge it, it happens more. I usually have to delete and reload the app. Which sucks. For a while there I was reloading it every day.
