@KK1231 Thanks for your reply! The only option you can do is to manually log the activity but make sure you select the previous date you want the activity to be logged (check @GisselleM's steps). On the app go to the "track exercise tile" and then "log previous". Your idea is good! I recommend posting that on the Feature Requests Board. That way we can vote for the idea to get it implemented in the future.
Let me know how it goes!

@KK1231 Welcome to the Fitbit Community! So the active minutes are not showing for Thursday? Have you checked on the online dashboard to see if they are showing there? Check the picture below to see how to go to previous days.
Also, remember that active minutes are counted every time your METs are met. Intensity is the key here. Check this thread for more details on active minutes.
Hope this helps. Let me know how it goes!

Mine is doing the same.
I worked out twice on August 6th. And started and stopped the exercise on my fit bit.
It does not show up on my dashboard.

@KK1231 METs are metabolic equivalents that the Fitbit trackers use to calculate active minutes. They help measure the energy expenditure of various activities. METs are used as indicators for exercise intensity among persons of different weights. A MET of 1 indicates a body at rest; Fitbit trackers estimate your MET value in any given minute by calculating the intensity of your activity. You ear active minutes for activities at or above about 3 METs. Minutes are only awarded after 10 minutes of continuous moderate-to-intense activity.
Now, did you logged an activity? The "weekly exercise" graph will be fulfilled when you log an activity manually of via your tracker. If you only used your tracker regularly, it won't. That is what my research resulted!
@ag444 It's nice to have you on board! Check if the activity for August 6th was properly synced. If not, try to manually log that activity and check if the "weekly exercise" graph changes (check @GisselleM's steps).

I have the charge HR and it does the same thing with not tracking some days but it does others. What doesn't make sense to me was I walk my dog for less than 30 min. and it logs it as a day of exercise but I go to the gym for over an hour and it doesn't log it as an exercise day unless I manually enter my exercise.

It's great to see you around @Swimmng and @Fcp. Thanks for troubleshooting this inconvenience by yourselves. If you have already the restart process for the Alta and Charge HR without success, I recommend getting in touch with our support team since they have the proper tools to see the information that your trackers are registering. For a faster response you can contact them via phone or chat.
In the meantime, you can follow @SantiR's recommendations and manually log your activities. You can manually log and activity by doing the following from a computer:
1. Go to the Activities page by clicking Log at the top of your dashboard, then click Activities.
2. Under Log Activities, click a common activity or search for your activity in the search box.
3. Select your activity from the search results. If the activity is not in our system, you have the option to create your own activity by clicking the Create custom activity text that will appear below the search field.
4. Enter the duration, distance (if applicable), and start time of your activity. You have the option to manually enter the number of calories burned here if you'd like to.
5. Click Log Activity. Your activity will now be visible and editable in the Logged Activities area.
Let me know the outcome.

I have this same problem. I work out about 5 - 6 times per week. it shows up in my fitbit and the app but then it doesn't record it in the number of days of weekly exercise. I refresh it over and over again which sometimes works but often times it does not work and it's annoying. it stinks that the answer is that we have to manually log the activity. the point of having a tracker is that it should track it on its own.

My Alta HR did not log my Sunday exercise either and that is the first day setting of this week for me. It was my biggest day too. While I can sort of log the time manually it isn't the same. The update is a reward of sorts. I guess I'll just have to reward myself. I tried syncing multiple times, logging in online, deleted the app and re-added it, nothing worked. So, I have updated manually. This isn't the first time.

I had the same problem today. Bought an Alta last week and the tracking exerscise has been automatically synced until today. So annoying to buy a product that's not doing what was promised. Please fix this bug!

My Fitbit 2 doesn’t allow me to put in my excercise. Swam today and it is not showing even though it did in the past

The solution seems pretty primative. This weekly exercise update issue happens to me on average once a week. annoying.

My charge 2 does the same thing! I don't want to manually enter my exercise. That's why I purchased a Fitbit.

My friend bought a Fit bit and it didn't automatically log exercise as it should. I uninstalled my software because I thought a setting was the issue. When I uninstalled the app on my fitbit, my fitbit now stopped logging exercise. I think there was an update to the app and it no longer automatically logs exercise. I didn't buy a $100+ TRACKER so I would have to manually track my exercise. Lame solution.

HI, I have read the many threads and responses on the Active Minutes versus Exercise measurements.
Here's my question.
Every Wednesday I have a 1 hour Thaibox lesson and each week it appears as an Exercise and I rename name it to "Cardio Kickboxing". On average it shows that the impact on my day is 1000 steps/200 calories/25 active minutes".
So my question relates to yesterday's lesson.
It shows up in my Active Minutes (I synched before the lesson and afterwards and the Active minutes jumped by 30). It shows up on my Heart Rate graph with 22 minutes cardio after 6pm (time of lesson). But for the 1st time it doesn't show at all on "Exercise" . Wednesday (yesterday) has zero entries.
Do I need to restart my tracker?
