Weekly exercise not updating

My HR charge recorded my active minutes from yesterday but did not update the day for "weekly exercise". I have my week starting on Monday. It shows Monday and Tuesday, I took Wednesday off and then worked out Thursday but it doesn't show Thursday

I notice the low battery issue also. Thinking of getting a second battery to just switch when one gets low so data is not lost or goes unrecorded. Finding that the Flex 2 is a little temperamental.

Great idea, if you find this will work, let us know. There have been some
pretty good sales lately on cheaper versions of the trackers, I also
thought about getting one of those as a backup but a backup battery would
also work if this is possible. Lately, my tracking has been better since I
changed it to track 7 days of exercise as my goal.

Hi, I am having similar issues as everyone in this post.  I did my biggest day on Sunday as I walked for a couple of hours then did a Zumba class later on that day.  My steps are recorded as over 24,000, 172 minutes of exercise 25 floors and 17.08 km ... but this is not appearing in my Weekly exercise.  I am not sure what the answers about adding exercise manually, as clearly the exercise has been recorded, but just not recognised in the Weekly Exercise goal.   Have tried all the resetting blah blah blah stuff, so haven't really seen anything that actually solves the issue ... Yes I, know I did complete my weekly goal, but it feels nicer when you can see it recorded as such.  IS there a problem with my HR2 fitbit ?  Thanks all.

I think the problem is the app. I also notice that if my battery is half charged it will not sync properly. I swim and it is frustrating that my laps do not sync properly. My IPhone updated and the workout registered.

Thanks for your reply EJLH, but not quite sure what your solution was.  You said it could be the app then your iPhone updated, so you reinstalled the app or something?  The missing entry is now on last weeks stats. -  thanks

I am also having the same problem. Has anyone found a fix.  I get emails weekly that show I have worked out but not syncing to my dashboard. I have tried resetting and then I lose some of the details.  Any help would be appreciated. This is so frustrating .

Hello.

I am having the same problem.....getting active minutes but it doesn't reflect on my exercise tile so I can't see how may calories I burnt.

Tjis is a critical part of my weight loss programme and is the only reason why I bought the Alta HR.

I only bought it a few weeks ago and will try to get a refund if this can't be solved.

Should I wait or do you think this is an on-going issue?

Tuesday I had 8955 steps, 3 floors, 3.8 miles, 2366 calories burned, 89 minutes active. Not counted as a day of exercise. Wednesday I had 8470 steps, 2 floors, 3.59 miles, 1965 calories burned, 31 minutes of activity, counted as a day of exercise. Tuesday was higher in every way, but not counted as a day of exercise. The app does this every week. I'm tired of this app doing this. No one at the company is interested in this problem. Always have excuses why this happens. Won't be buying another FitBit.

Won’t be buying or recommending. It doesn’t track my swimming accurately either. The battery life is short also. “Such is life”.
It does wake me up to get to the pool early in the morning.

I am having the same problem, Fitbit replaced my tracker but now I have the same problem with this one. This may be a solution but should not be necessary.  The Alta He should work as advertised. I'm very disappointed.

00 forJust adding my voice to everyone else's. Very frustrating. Paid $100 for a device that does not perform one of it's basic functions.  I might be able to live with having to enter the exercise manually...but when I do, it doesn't calculate calories burned correctly, and it takes away from my "active minutes." I just doing a simple 30 minute brisk walk. You'd think this hunk of junk could at least recognize a walk for God's sake. I have already talked 3 other people into buying a different brand. And it feels good.

I just received my replacement Fitbit and I went to the gym yesterday and it registered my minutes but not my weekly exercise. I know I can enter it manually but I need to see my heart rate while exercising. Now what?

That didn't work. It didn't put in any of the numbers I entered. It put in its own and completely screwed-up the whole week. There is also no way to go back. Sounds like a software issue to me.

I cannot even sync the activities. Should it not automatically log the activity? Im battling to log on simole activities. My Samsung app automatically tracked my workout.

This product is rubbish

Manually log the activity is the accepted solution. Seems a lot of people having this problem. I suggest the accepted solution is to get a Garmin. They work.

When you manually log the exercise, it doesn't calculate the calories spent correctly, and it subtracts the time from the "active minutes" total, which is unacceptable to me. My Alta actually has been working better since I posted this. I have no idea why. Still not perfect...but better.

I have the same problem—exercise won’t refresh, over and over again. I totally detest any sort of physical labor, and exercise is right at the top of the list. Turning pages in a book and petting the cat are much more preferred forms of compulsory movement. Therefore, to such a layabout as myself, the entire idea of having to figure out how long one walked, what one’s stride was, the type of cumulus in the sky during said walk and so on, is simply ridiculous. That’s why I purchased a Fitbit in the first place, because I never bothered to complete my post doc in stats in order to try and figure out how to calculate everything to enter my own results. However, my physician is displeased with the current state of my physical affairs and I’ll be **ahem**ed if I’m not going to get credit for every twitch of every muscle fiber that is under voluntary control. Therefore, O Supreme Fitbit, please fix this flaw before I have to do some groveling at the local medico’s, won’t you?
