Same issue ... it seems the only solution is to remove the tile ... i give up

I am having same issue. Started on June 9, 2019. I've never had to manually enter my activity for it to register the activity or the day in the weekly activity, why would I need a tracker then. Something changed and it's not working correctly.

I am having the same issue. I have never had to manually track the activity to show active minutes or the weekly exercise goal, why have a tracker then!!

They know it does work on the Alta and they keep selling them and saying
they do what the do not do!! I will never buy another product from Fitbit!

I'm having the same problem. I have a Alta HR. I've called fitbit customer service several times . The first time the woman went through different trouble shooting steps which did not work. The second time, the guy said their is an issue with that part of the app. and fitbit is trying to fix it. I called back today and was sent a return lable through my e-mail to send it back and I will be sent a new one. I've read where others have sent theirs back, received a new one and having same problem. If the problem is in the app. then a new device isn't going to solve the problem. I'm at my wits end.

Same thing happened to me. I tried adding it manually but then it showed it as double (double steps, time, etc). It was as if the info was there but not showing. Any other suggestions?

I’m following suit with going to look at the Garmin. If it isn’t this issue of not tracking exercise or counting steps, it is something else. They changed the app for various things, and now there are more issues with that. It keeps now, not finding my fit bit, or it starts syncing then it says it fails. When crossing the dateline when traveling and gaining a day it used to just acccumulate the days into the same day, seeing as it becomes the same day, but instead it gets confused, and I lose that days statitics completely, and when the dateline losses a day on the way back, I lose a day on the fit bit, which I suppose is correct, but not if it lost me a day already... way too many things wrong .. and the app seems to be getting worse with the updates. I’ve decided to move on, as it is wasting my time, having to reset and troubleshoot .. if there were a counter to count all the troubles I’ve been having ...I think it would rate very high. And despite all of the forums with people having issues, there seems very little done. I have to keep resetting the app all the time now, to get it to work. I am having the same issue with my weekly exercise report being incorrect. It is a shame that this problem has been going on for at least a couple of years & here we are still dealing with it!
What I have realized is that the exercise doesn’t update on the tile until after midnight. I guess the app is allowing the user to squeeze in multiple exercise sessions into the day before adding up all the minutes & syncing it as a total. So if you don’t see your exercise counted on your tile today, you will likely see it tomorrow.
My frustration is that I can see on my dashboard how many days I’ve exercised (for example, 4 days were logged last week) but when I receive my weekly report it will say I only exercised 1 or 2 days. This is very annoying & makes the weekly report useless.

Thank you for your post. This is the direction I’m going as well. What model did you get?
ive had enough with fitbit, if it isn’t one thing it’s another. At present I have at least 3 issues with it ... each problem has been a theme of discussions in these threads, and none have been looked at or attempted to be fixed by fitbit. All I ever seem to get is told to reset or to manually enter data ...

My exercise screen has not updated since 11/25. Is that when we were put on “Discover”? Before that it updated every day and the pentagon filled in. I have an Alta.

work . Shows zero, but if I go over my set minutes it still updates my days
of excersize. Go figure.
