I just updated firmware for the charge after being reminded for over one year to do so. So I did it now the battery that lasted for 8/9 days is down to 5. I check settings and I learned that there is no option to shut off the continuous synchronization, that I believe is now draining the battery.
Am I missing something?

@retiredpd Hello! The option to turn syncing off and on was removed some time ago. The only way to get around it now is to turn bluetooth off on your phone, however, it'll disable bluetooth with all devices, not just your Fitbit.

I have been told that continuous update was eliminated to improve battery life. I was told this when I complained about the application screen freezing for up to 15 minutes before updating. as much as I hate to suggest this you probably should contact Fitbit customer care. maybe they will have a solution to your problem or at least an .
