Which old fitbit model do I have?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have an old fitbit model, probably 4-6 years old.  Very basic, a thin, black strap, one button on left of a very small screen.  Charged it up, seems to work as far as showing # steps, heart rate, etc.  I plugged into my pc via a USB and nothing happens. (1) How can I tell which model I have?  (2) How do I update time/date?  (3) Is it still supported and if so, how do I get it active on my pc?  Thank you.

Hi @RWeltyJ and welcome to the forum! I suggest you do a google search of IMAGES of “Fitbit Devices.” You should find yours there. Or, if you can, post a photo of your device. Once we know which one you have, we can help answer your other questions.

Thank you for your quick reply.  It will not let me upload a photo; when I click on Inset/Edit image (camera icon in this message), it only presents boxes to enter info, nothing to grab the photo I took.

P.S. - based on the Google search I believe it's a Fitbit Charge HR

Hi @RWeltyJ - Now that we know what it is, let’s see if we can get it going for you. Here is a link to the manual which includes set up info regarding a Windows PC. The time and date on your Charge HR should be correct after you set it up and sync it. The Fitbit device takes the time/date from the pc.

As for your question - is this device still supported - the answer is no. The community forum where you posted is primarily available for customer-to-customer support, I’m sorry to say, this is quite an old device. Hopefully the info I provided will help. Please let me know.
