how to stop multiple notification on same calendar entry

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Charge2 using Apple Calendar app for notifications. I get multiple notifications for the same entry throughout the day. It seems to be Holiday entries. Calendars work OK til about two weeks ago. Synced devices are iPhone IOS 13, and MAC IOS 12.

Thanks

@SunsetRunner Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!

Let me help you with your calendar notifications. As these reminders set to "all day" on your calendar app? This could be the reason you get several notifications during the day. Check your calendar settings. You can also refresh the link between your phone and your tracker by doing the following:

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device
  • You can find additional suggestions here.

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks AlvaroFitbit:

Holidays are marked by Default as ‘Alert 9:00 AM 1 day in advance’. Removing ‘Show all day Events’ removes all holiday entries. I’ll Follow your recommendations.

Have a GREAT DAY!

@SunsetRunner happy to help.

Keep me posted on the results. I guess I will wait until Thanksgiving. Happy holidays to you and your loved ones.

I'll be around.

You don't have to wait til Thanksgiving! Calendar notification for 8am repeated every hour.  I looked at devices and found multiple entries for same devices, some going back to previous OS releases. Cleaned up and just have current iPhone and MAC listed. See if that does anything.

No Joy! Problem persists. I guess I'll just turn off Notifications and hope the problem will be resolved later. I see there are problems reported with Apple IOS 13. The watch isn't the only problem I have with IOS 13!
