simplified sleep mode charge HR 2

Fitbit will only give simplified sleep mode for last 3 nights have tried all recommended remedies also heart rate not registering since last night

@Wyky Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

 

Let me help you with your sleep logs. Not sure what you have tried but you may not get sleep stages for the following reasons:

 

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your device to bed). For more information on automatic sleep tracking, see How do I track my sleep?
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.

I suggest you clean the back of your device with cotton and rubbing alcohol and restart it. Turn the heart rate off, save and sync then turn it on save and sync again. Also check these tips to improve the heart rate reading on your device.

Sleep tracking has suddenly stopped for 8 consecutive nights. Have done everything suggested. It seems Fitbit operated till just beyond the warranty period and then stops working correctly. Tha last one lost the display( faded away) just outside warranty period too. I am a 76 year old pensioner and like to use Fitbit for health purposes. I think now is the time to look at other alternatives £139 almost ever yeR is too much
