From Can I use more than one Fitbit device with the same account?
Note that you can't connect multiple devices that use the Fitbit App Gallery to one account. For Fitbit Charge 3, Fitbit Charge 4, Fitbit Ionic, Fitbit Inspire series, and Fitbit Versa series, only connect one of these devices to your account at a time.
With the newer trackers, you cannot have 2 on the same account. If one of them was an older model, for instance Alta HR, that would work, but not Charge 3 and Inspire HR.

So how do I remove the old Fitbit (Charge HR) and get started on my new Inspire HR?

When you set up a new device on the App it will automatically replace the old one

The Charge HR is one that can coexist, so when you add it, it should ask if this is a replacement. You should have the choice of yes - replacement, or no - and keep both.

Got it, thanks. I found the answer in the Help files. There are easy step-by-step instructions for different types of devices. Article title is: How do I remove a Fitbit device from my account?

Yes, and as I explained above, you cannot do that.
But @BV_Granma is trying to add the Charge HR, and that can be done as the Charge HR is not in the list on trackers I quoted above.

No, Gramma was trying to replace her old with her new Fitbit. And that is done. Someone else wanted to add the two together, and that can't be done.
