Are exercises are being logged twice?

Hello, I have Auto detect turned on for running biking and the common exercises. Sometimes I turn on the GPS tracking for my run/walk. I am wondering if the exercises are being logged twice or is Fitbit smart enough to know this was done within the same time frame and it should not count twice. Additional information since I started the GPS by hands at knows my exact start time. The auto detect picked it up later. It shows up twice in my exercise log. TIA

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for the details that were shared. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which mobile device are you using? When was the first time you experienced this issue and how many times since then? In the meantime I receive your answers, please restart your Inspire HR and try the following steps to troubleshoot the Fitbit app:

 

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
  3. Make sure that the OS version of your phone is up to date.
  4. Reboot your mobile device.
  5. Reinstall the Fitbit app.
  6. Login using your account credentials.
