Has anybody had their Fitbit break where the pin attaches to the actual Fitbit?

Would like to avoid having to buy a new one but not sure it can be fixed.

I've resorted to E6000 glue

Did that work? I just ordered a new fitbit inspire a few days ago, but i'll save this info in case it happens again.

Mine did the same thing just yesterday. I attached the larger band to try and replace it, but now it doesn’t fit right. I’d prefer to have a smaller band to replace it with.

It's been just over a week, so far so good.

Hello guys, unfortunately I had the very same problem yesterday with my Fitbit Charge 4, which broke where the wristband connects to the device body 😞

@DavideFitbit, are you Italian too? Can you help me getting assistance for this problem? ❤️

Thank you very much in advance for you support...!

Hi, welcome to the Fitbit Community forums, @The_Raven @EleBon87

I appreciate the information provided about this problem.

Unfortunately it's not possible to replace only the part where the pin attaches to the actual Fitbit. Since this is something related to the hardware, it is recommended that you get in touch with the Customer Support team so they can let you know what are the options available for you. You can click here to get connected and chat with us online or give us a call.

@EleBon87 You can post your inquiries in Italian here as well, if that's more comfortable for you: La Community italiana. We'll be glad to take a look and respond to you there. In this particular case, it will be necessary to contact the Customer Support team for further assistance. The link to get help in Italian via e-mail or chat is a different one, you can click here to get assistance in your language: Contatta il supporto

See you around.

Mine did this too. It’s a couple years old . I don’t want to lose it. It pops off easy now. Do you need a new watch?

I've kept it. I glue it using E-6000 glue. Every couple months it might pop
off but it's easy to re-glue.

FitBit was super nice enough to send me a coupon for....i think it was 40% off a new one so I used it. But if you look at the comment under this one Sarah1814 has been kind enough to provide us with a solution!

Hi everyone, thanks for all the information provided so far.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community forums, @Jayren. Do you mean the device is broken as well or that it keeps popping off and it's not broken?

Make sure to press the band into the end of the tracker until you hear a click and it snaps into place. Keep in mind that the band with the buckle attaches to the top of the tracker. You can find other useful information in this article to properly secure the band.

@rmfraijo @Sarah1814 Thanks for taking the time to share your suggestions and your experience with this.

Hello,

I know this is an old thread but the plastic on my Fitbit just broke and I’ve only had it since September 2022. I contacted support and they said they would send me an email with what options I have but nothing has arrived. Any tips on how to get it replaced quickly?

Same thing happened to me a couple of days ago. I've never even taken the strap off so it's obviously not anything I've done. I'm gutted now as it appears I can get a new strap which doesn't solve my problem at all.

Had fitbit replaced again Oct 2022 and the plastic broke again 2 weeks ago while on holiday! As stated before it’s a very bad design and I’m fed up with it now, I can’t be bothered to have it replaced again. I have now ordered a clip so I can attach it to clothing (not from fitbit as  can find much cheaper elsewhere).

why do fitbit keep this design? Surely they’ve had enough feedback about it?!

This occurred to me not once but twice ! The first time I thought it was because I had bumped it on a shopping cart. I bought another one and it broke where the pin attaches to the fitbit. It appears to be a weakness in the design. I had only had the second one for about 10 months.
