Can't read text messages on Inspire HR

I just got the Inspire HR, it synced to my Galaxy S8, I am notified if I get a text message but I can't read the message. Should I be able to read the message? And if so, how do I do that?

Yes you should be able to read the message. If it is a long message you wont get it all, but you should get some of it. I also have an S8 and I see messages on mine. So I wonder if you iu have your phone settings correct. In your phones settings, check that notifications are set to SHOW rather than HIDE on your lock screen. In the settings app select lock screen and security, select notifications, and make sure Hide is not selected.

So I have the iPhone 8 Plus and I can’t see any message notifications!! I have everything I’m the settings menu set as it’s supposed to be

I also have an iPhone and I just set up my Inspire HR. I see my phone calls and calendar but I am not getting my text messages. I have followed every directions I’ve been given. Is there a glitch?

Hey, what settings do you have on your Fitbit? I do have two fitbits in the house but one is dead and lost & I unsynced it. I bought this one because the other stopped displaying texts, but would display calls. On The new Fitbit the news will come up and phone calls.

My inspire, paired to my iPhone XS, worked fine for  a week. Now text messages are not showing. I get the vibration but when I raise my wrist, only the clock shows. I tried all the reset, restart, pair-again suggestions from Fitbit. Still not working. Frustrating because it was working before.
