I bought the inspireHR for my sister as a birthday gift. I was trying to set up hers on her mac but she has    a android phone and I got stuck on the setup now mode. When I tap on the set up now it revert back to never/remind me  later/ setup now scree. This is very frustrating. I attempted multiple times, same results. I am tempted to return the product  .

@wbli Thanks for joining us! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

 

Let me help you with setting up your sister's Inspire HR birthday present. You can try the following:

 

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device. 
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, on an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on. 
  5. You can find troubleshooting instructions here.
