Change Language

The answer given for the search of how to change the language on my device says I need to turn off the “auto detect location” in the iOS app. I don’t see that option in the latest version. So, how am I supposed to change the language on my inspire 2?

The Inspire 2 will overtake the language of the las mobile device it was synced with, if the desired language is supported. This is the only thing that I do if I need to change from German to English.

That’s what I was told on various pages. However, that has not happened with my device. Perhaps I’m doing something wrong.

I would like English but my device insists on Japanese. Not to worry, I can read the Japanese. It’s just annoying.

Please on your browser go to fitbit.com and log in. 

On the upper right corner click on the gear icon and then on settings>personal settings. 

Make sure that under LANGUAGE BY REGION/COUNTRY  you have selected english. 

Save and then sync your Inspire 2 with your Fitbit app.
