Disappointed

Just bought a new inspire hr to replace old charge hr and am very disappointed ☹️  It doesn’t track stairs climbed, I can’t change which stats I can see, the text, other than the time, is too small and I can no longer start the stopwatch with single button press.  Other than being less clunky and prettier how is this an improvement?  I’m really disappointed.

The Charge 3 is the Replacement for the Charge 2 and why the Charge 2 sales page directs the user to the Charge 3

The Inspire HR is designed to replace the Flex and Flex 2, both of which did not have a readout or stair count.

The Inspire is designed to replace the Zip and Fitbit One.

The Charge 3 sounds like what you would be interested in and is Fitbit's most advanced tracker model.

Good news is that if purchased through the Fitbit online store there is a 45 day return policy.

Thank you. I obviously should have done some more research before I bought this one.

Actually the Fitbit One did track stairs.

I find it really disappointing that already the Flex did not, and now as my last One is dying, I thought this Inspire might be the solution (I want a clip), but alas no stair count.

I realize that the Fitbit one tracked status,  I also realize that their where many complaints about the stair counting accuracy.  Also since the most popular clip on model was the Zip, and to save cost,  I can see why a barometer was left out. Plus the stair count has never been used on any calculation other than to display the count.

Thanks for all the replies.  Maybe I didn’t do enough research.  However, when I asked the sales assistant in John Lewis what the difference was between the Charge 2 and the Inspire, she said battery life - which wasn’t an issue for me and I preferred the sleeker design.

An easy chart with the models across the top and a list of features down the side and ticks in the appropriate slots would be helpful

Hi @Jalinsun

Like this you mean? This is the Compare trackers page in the Online Store

Unfortunately all sales assistants in stores are not well up on all the products they sell.

Thanks again for all the replies.  I am now getting used to my inspire hr and having a lot of fun with the improved sleep analysis.  Being able to “snooze” the alarms is nice too.   Still have to put my glasses on to read the watch display, but it’s not all bad!

I’m equally disappointed. I loved my Fitbit one and the inspire doesn’t have same functionality as in stairs climbed yet it is the only one you don’t need to wear on your wrist. Very poor alternative

But this is for inspire HR which sadly according to Fitbit website you can’t wear on a clip

Several users say that the Inspire HR will fit into the Inspire clip. Also it is unlikely that the resulting step count will be adversely affected.

Thanks. I thought inspire HR would fit as same size but will it work?
