Display screen not working

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Fitbit just buzzed on my wrist and the display screen is not working! I have only had this a couple of months maybe 6 weeks. The battery is fully charged. Anyone else had this? How can I get the screen detail back?

I managed to get it to work the button on the side seemed to put it into sleep mode. I pressed and held it in and it vibrated. I did this a couple of times and it came back!

did you ever get a resolution to this? mine just stopped working as well. I've had mine since May though and this is the first time it's done this.

Best Answer

I never got a reply but I held in the button on the side for a while and it seemed to bring it back to life eventually, very strange it hasn’t done it since.

My display screen is stuck on the time. Will not scroll. I’ve had it less than 2 months.

My display is stuck also and will scroll. I sent an email in now the wait begins.

It finally did start working...no rhyme or reason why it stopped or why it restarted. Haven’t had any further issues.

The same has just happened to my Fitbit. Stuck on the clock, tried pressing side button like suggested but nothing.

Put it on the charger and held the side button for 5 seconds then released it got a smiley face. the unit started back up and everything was ok.

UPDATE

My screen started working again. No known reason for it to stop. No known reason for it to start again.

Mine has been doing this for 2 days. Stuck on the clock.

Mine also stuck for 2 days. It was still within the 30 day return from Argos, so I took it back no quibble they exchanged it. They did also offer my money back but decided to have new one. They also told me that it has a 1yr warranty with Fitbit and said that if you contact them directly they are very good at repairing or replacing .

I tried that but never got a smiley face. I'm not smiling since this is my third device. They seem to just be junk as I have returned it twice and gotten two replacements. I am done with this thing.

@h1nck73y , @Mike579 and @msherrin I just checked with our Customer Support team and confirmed that you have an open case with them. I advise you to reply them and continue the assistance. Cat Wink

@SammiG01 , can you please confirm you already restart your Inspire HR? Instructions to restart here below

  1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Hold the other end of the charging cable near the port on the back of the tracker until it attaches magnetically. The pins on the charging cable must connect securely with the port.
  3. Press and hold the button on your tracker for 5 seconds.
  4. Release the button. When you see a smile icon and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.

Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any other questions, comments, or concerns.

Mine is suddenly stuck on the time too. For the last few days.

Is this an update issue or something? Seems odd it's happened to so many of us.
