Display screen not working

My Fitbit just buzzed on my wrist and the display screen is not working! I have only had this a couple of months maybe 6 weeks. The battery is fully charged. Anyone else had this? How can I get the screen detail back?

As suggested I held the side button while the device was on the charger.  Ince the happy face appeared, it reset and now it's fine.  Thanks all!

I have given up even dealing with Fitbit. I was told to make a video of the problem which I will not take the time to do when they don't seem to be able to test their devices before selling them. This is not my first device as I have had two others replaced. It is easier and more economical to just go with another brand. I am done.

I am not wasting any more time on this issue. I have had this device replaced two other times. I am done with fitbit and will go with another brand.

I already tried restarting the device and was told repeatedly that I need to provide a video of the problem. I have packaged and mailed two other Inspires and now I am supposed to make a video? You should have just replaced the piece of junk and asked me to return the current one at my convenience. I am not at all impressed with your customer service.

I've been having the same problem lately. Every now and then my screen won't light up anymore. After a while it comes back to life but I have no idea why.

 

Today it happend again, I decided to check the back of the watch and clean it and immediately my screen jumped on again.

 

I have no idea it there could be a link between the sensor (that touches your wrist) and the screen but I'm going to keep it in the back of my mind next time my screen stays black.

my display stopped at dinner.  When I got home and checked here, I tried pushing the button a few times.  got a little buzz and it started to work again.

My display stopped working almost a week ago after I charged it.  I have tried everything to get the display to come back and nothing.  It is still working as I do get notifications to move but can't see how many more steps I need to get for the hour!  Was purchased on 9/25/2019.  How do I get it repaired?

Even holding down longer did not work.  I got this in December and it has been terrible.  bluetooth quits every couple of days, display goes away all the time.  I tried to report with very little luck

Since my last post it happens regularly that my screen doesn't light up anymore and every time I clean it in the back (sensors) and it starts working again. Did this already more then 10 times. 😉

I was glad to see I am not the only one with this issue. Obviously, it's a glitch that they still haven't fixed,  since mine went dark on 04/15/2020.

I can still see my steps on my phone, but doesn't make me feel very confident in their product.

Hi, my screen on my HR charge 3 is blank and no matter what I do, it just vibrates, charges battery okay, but no display, the reset will not work, the display was working, but sometimes jumbled text.

Is there another way of resetting it or putting it back to factory status. Thanks

Tried attaching to charger and holding in the button and the screen still won't turn on.

My screen goes dark every now and then. Putting it on the charger has always
worked for me. Sometimes I have to put back on charger multiple times. I
leave it on the charger for a while.

I have a Charge 3 and the screen went blank.  Initially, I followed the advice on here and it (temporarily) reset and worked fine.  However, after not very long, it went blank so I charged it up and tried to reset - just shows lines across the screen that look like a bar code.  I find that some of the data collected when I am wearing it is still collected and I can look at it on my iPhone but so mad that the Charge 3 was only just out of the one year guarantee when it started not working.  Furious!  Shame too as I loved the idea of it and am missing the time function enormously.  

 

What next?  Buying something else is difficult as not been paid in lockdown.  Really, really, really furious!
