Fitbit Android App shows incorrect data, but Win10 App is correct

Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, how did you solve the problem?

I noticed the other day that the Android app summarized my 2-hour yoga class as having lasted 28 minutes. At the beginning of the class, I tapped on the HR, chose Exercise, the Yoga. At the end of the class, I tapped again to pause, then again to Finish.

After syncing, the summary showed 28 minutes, but drilling down showed a duration of 1:55:55, which is probably completely accurate, because the class started a few minutes late and ran a few minutes over. So where did 28 minutes come from?

For some reason, today I looked at the Windows 10 Fitbit app, which I would have expected to show the same thing. But no. It's got everything correct.

What the heck?

Screenshots of everything attached. I'd appreciate any help with this. I am syncing with a Google Pixel 3.

@catester , I don’t know the answer for sure, by with my experience with Fitbit over 5 years now, my sense is that quite different teams work on the different platforms (windows, Android, iOS) and sometimes a bug affects one platform, but not another.  Usually these things get resolved by the different teams and everything is eventually reconciled.

If you ever want to know what data is actually stored on your Fitbit account, the very best way is to go to your online dashboard.  There is a link on the top right hand side of every page whenever you are logged in to the Community.  I think many people never use this facility, but it still has some options not available in the apps, so I would advise checking there and see what is stored for your activity.

I hope this helps.

You know, you're right. I rarely look at my online dashboard. So I did that, but it's the same kind of wrong as the Android app.

I do like your theory, though, that different teams work on different platforms and different bugs (presumably at different paces and with different priorities).

I swear I did two hours of yoga, not 28 minutes! But here's the online dashboard, and the results of clicking on "View details."
