Fitbit acts like side button is being pressed

This is hard to explain without a video visual. So ya know when you hard press the side left button/back button, youre brought to the screen that has the battery percentage, lightbulb/screen wake option? Well the fitbit is constantly going to that screen on its own, without touching the side button. It toggles back and fourth between that screen and the normal time/stats screen. And the toggling is within seconds. I cant control which screen Im looking at, as by the time my finger touches anything, it's already toggled. And this is constant, with a vibration happening everytime it toggles. So I cant wear the fitbit as the vibrations are going off as it toggles every 1 to 2 seconds (it's very annoying). The heart rate monitor has also stopped working. No green lights on the back and "--" on the screen. HR is also not picked up on the app. I've restarted/reset the fitbit over 5 times. Nothing. I even just left it on the charger over night with the happy face on the screen in hopes the issue would resolve. Nothing. I'm quite frustrated and trying to navigate an actual fitbit support person has lead me here. Help please.
