Fitbit login

Why is it that in order to check my phone calls or texts I always have to login to Fitbit first?

I'm using Samsung Galaxy 8.

OK that is really odd. It is the same phone that I use and I never have to log in to see my notifications. Besides which is IS a supported phone so should work. Firstly Id suggest you check all your phones settings in the phones settings app (not the fitbit app). 

Here are some of mine for you to check. The first is the settings app, under apps and select Fitbit. The second is under Lock Screen.

Thanks for your reply.  Apparently this was a new situation for Fitbit but after 2 phone calls we finally figured it out.  It seems that my Fitbit password locked my phone but it is now good.
