Hi, my sleep tracking and heart rate sensor has suddenly stopped working. The green sensor light doesn’t flash any more. Can someone help?

@Nityak and @daknees A feature of the Inspire is that it can be worn on your wrist or on a clip. I wonder if your devices got set to Clip mode somehow. When it is set for the clip, the heart rate detection is turned off and you also don't get sleep metrics. To check this setting, press and hold both side buttons on the Inspire 2, you'll get a list of settings. Swipe up until you get to the last one. It should say "On Wrist", if you want see your heart rate. If it says "On Clip", tap on that and change it to "On Wrist".

Welcome to the forums @Nityak @daknees.

Thank you for providing the information regarding this situation with your devices.

As indicated by @alexthecat, if by any case you set the device to be worn 'on clip' it's not going to track heart rate.

In addition to the previous information and If you haven't done so yet, please try the following steps in the order listed:

  • Switch the Heart Rate settings from On to Off and manually sync your watch. Access settings: Press and hold the button on the device to open the quick settings menu. Locate heart rate setting: Within the settings, find the "Heart Rate" option. Toggle on/off: Tap the "Heart Rate" option to switch between on and off.
  • Once it's done, manually sync your Inspire HR. To do so, open the Fitbit app, tap on the upper left corner icon, tap on your Fitbit device's image and tap on "Sync Now".
  • Next, switch it from Off to On and manually sync your Inspire HR once again.
  • Once it's done, restart the tracker.
  • Next, confirm that your tracker is snug on your wrist (the lights shouldn't be visible). We also recommend when you're not exercising, wear the tracker just above the wrist bone.

Glad to know @daknees that you managed to solved it. Thanks to @alexthecat for being always to help.
