I've had my inspire HR less than 24 hours but my HR tracking just doesn't seem to work? It was working briefly when I first put it on but once taken off to fully charge it's been stuck at "-- bpm" all day and no change so far.
HR tracking IS enabled
device has been reset twice
device is not worn loosely
device has been unpaired and repaired and resynced with mobile app.
HR does not update from -- BPM however resting heart rate seems to still be showing (although it hasn't changed at all showing 60bpm constantly?)
Best AnswerHi @ilyt Hmmmm that is a bit odd. Is the green light on the back flickering rapidly? The resting Heart rate doesnt change a great deal, so that is not unusual.

@NellyG Green light is still going!
I've tried giving it a wipe incase there was something over it, i've moved my fitbit around and even tried on my dominant wrist but no changes as of yet 😞
Try THIS Help Article on troubleshooting heart rate, but if nothing helps please come back here for further assistance.

Nope! Nothings changed.. I don't want to consider this a fault since it worked briefly before taking it off but nothing I do seems to make it pick up a heart rate anymore.

Welcome to the Forums @ilyt. Hello @NellyG.
@ilyt Thanks for going through all of the steps that @NellyG has recommended, sharing all of those details and answering her question.
I'd like to ask you some questions of my own to better understand what is going on:
In the meantime I'd like to recommend that you try putting the HR sensor to the underside of your wrist for a couple of minuted and see if that produces a HR number on the Inspire.
I look forward to your reply.
Best AnswerI received my Inspire HR yesterday for Mother’s Day and have exactly the same problem. I wanted to keep my Charge 2 but thought that was the problem, so I deleted it from my account. No change. I’ve tried everything you have and it still won’t track HR. It also is not buzzing me for hourly walks, but it does notify on the watch. I wish we could get some answers.
I’m having the same problems. Tried moving it to the underside of my wrist. No change.

HR is set to 'on' and yes, the lights do still come on. Was working for about an hour once first set up, took off to fully charge and then hasn't came back on since. I've tried using the other side of my wrist (as well as some one elses wrist) but again no change ![]()
Having exact same problem. As everyone above. Very unhappy about this.
Best Answer@JTKroods the on/off/auto setting is in the app. Go to your account then to your Inspire HR and scroll down to Heart Rate. You need to select Inspire HR to find it. It isnt on the account page where the zones are situated.

Okay thank you. I was looking in the wrong place. I did find it and it showed that it is on.
Best AnswerI have already returned mine to be exchanged just incase but could this potentially be a software issue? All the tech seems to be working fine...
Best AnswerSo today I deleted the Inspire HR from my App, and then deleted the App. Then I got the App back and went through the whole process of adding the device to the App like when I first opened it. This has started the heart rate tracking. We’ll see how long it lasts. It’s still not vibrating for the hourly walks or for phone calls and texts.
Next test is when I go swimming today. So far, I’m very disappointed in this product.

Welcome to the Forums @JTKroods, @Circa1965 and @CJGetinShape. Hello @NellyG and @ilyt.
Thanks for being around to help @NellyG. Thank to everyone for sharing your situation and going through this thread.
@ilyt Please do keep us posted on how it goes with your exchanged Fitbit.
@JTKroods Thanks for trying to check that it is turned on and sharing the other steps that you tried. In regards to the vibration, could you try setting up an alarm and then confirm if it vibrates or not.
@Circa1965 and @CJGetinShape, Could you confirm the following:
I look forward to your replies. Please keep me posted on how it goes.
Best AnswerEverything seems to be working now. I was going to wait awhile to see if it continued to work on all levels. But I guess the steps I took to go back and start over with App and adding the device did the trick. I went to water aerobics class yesterday and it recorded the activity as a swim. 👍🏻
Also recorded my sleep patterns from last night and has been vibrating with hourly reminders and text messages. Yaaay!
Keeping my fingers crossed.
