I have had this Fitbit HR for less than a week. Some kind of timer is running continually. It appears on all screens, but is matched to the screen with the little clock face. I cannot stop nor clear this, nor can I even identify what it is trying to time. Please advise. Thank you.

Best Answer@nclady519 - I think you are in exercise mode. Push the button on the side twice to bring up the “finish” screen (first button push pauses an activity, the second brings up the ‘finish’ screen). Tap the ‘finish’ screen to stop the activity. Then scroll up until you get to the ‘close’ screen to get back to the top menus. That should leave you at the exercise menu, and if you swipe up from there you’ll get back to the clock screen.
If that doesn’t fix it, reviewing the menu navigation in the manual may help you figure out what is going on.
Let us know how it goes.

Mine turned on while I was sleeping, vibrate awoke me lol. I've been fiddling with it trying to turn the timer off. This was very useful, thanks lol!
This helped to stop the timer thank you. I am however having a problem with this happening daily. I don't know why it keeps starting. I have been trying to find where to permanently shut it off or at least not start automatically.
I have this same constant problem. It starts multiple times a day. This is my 2nd one doing this and drains the battery in less than a day.
Yesssss - this is driving me NUTS!!! I've had my Inspire HR for about a week (and it's my FIFTH FitBit since I originally got a "One" years ago) and the stopwatch keeps turning on all by itself which drains the battery rapidly. I finally figured out how to stop it once I notice that it's going, but it keeps turning on randomly all by itself. My app is up to date but the firmware on the Inspire isn't and the instructions for updating the device are wrong as there is no "All Day Sync" option. I'm hoping the latest firmware corrects the stopwatch problem but have no idea how to update and find out.
Scott, got Inspire HR recently. Wish I had one when we lived in Catonsville. Stay safe, len
