How to log water intake on Inspire 2?

I just received my Inspire 2 yesterday and set a water goal.  However, I am unable to log the water that I have actually consumed.  How can I do this on my watch?

@braveunicorn84 A warm welcome to the Fitbit Community. It's great to hear that you received a Fitbit Inspire 2.

You'll be able to track water intake in the Fitbit app. On Fitbit Ionic and Fitbit Versa series, log your water intake on your wrist.

  1. Tap the Today tab

  2. On the Water tile, tap the + icon.
  3. Enter the amount of water you drank, then tap Save.

On your Fitbit Inspire 2, check your water intake logged today and progress toward your daily goal.

Additionally, check these Inspire 2 tips

I'll be around if you have any additional questions.

I do not have a water tile on my today page.  I have been looking.  I briefly used a versa 2 so I am familiar with it.  I set a water goal, and it shows up on my watch, but it is not accessible in my app.  Thank you.

@braveunicorn84 Thank you for getting back.

This could be due to the tile that hasn't been added to the Today tab, follow these instructions to add it:

  1. On the Today tab

    , tap Edit.
  2. To add a stat tile, swipe down and find the stat you want to add > tap Add. To hide a stat tile, tap the X icon on the stat you want to remove.
  3. Tap Done.

Let me know how it goes.

This seems silly to not be able to log 8 oz on the watch (Inspire2) by just tapping it.  Thoughts on if this feature will come?

Yeah, this seems something easily should have already been thought of.

The fact that people are coming here asking for it makes it fairly obvious it is needed.  If the app wants us to track water drinking, we should be able to set whatever our water source size is as the default (add) and then just tap it to add it up.

The watch/fitbit is supposed to make this easier and here it doesn't.

Somehow the direct rely to braveunicorn84's question about water logging with Inspire 2 got lost.  Could you re-enter it?

@nogrok it is not possible to log water directly on the Inspire 2. You need to use the mobile app. @SilviaFitbit explained how to do that in her response above.

Thank you for taking the trouble to set me straight.  I recently wanted to begin water logging.  I wish I had caught on that it needed some app intervention.  I'll go try to hunt up the app.

Thanks again.

1. On my Inspire 2,I don't see a tile to enter water intake or food intake. I already signed out, restarted my phone. Still nothing.

I didn't know where to look for the # of my software.

2. Tapping the water icon on the watch does not do anything.
