The title says it all. It saved my life with the continued high heart rate alerts! PLEASE DO NOT DISREGARD THESE ALERTS! I’m an older gentleman previously diagnosed with AFib. The heart rate on this tracker exactly matched what the machine in the hospital room was giving. Exactly! Extremely happy with this tracker. Thank you, Google, for maintaining this budget friendly tracker. It saved my life! I ended up needing a cardioversion along with new meds.

Glad you are feeling better! 🙂

I have a Sense 2, with afib notifications turned on. Today I visited A&E after feeling unwell with a heartbeat reading max 150bpm whilst sedentary.

I was diagnosed with afib, with the hospital heart monitor showing a max of 175bpm, whilst the Sense 2 read around 140bpm. The doctor said becuase the heart rhythm was irregular, the Sense 2 was struggling to correctly read the heart rate. It also didn't give me a notification of afib.

So although the Sense 2 was useful for identifying there was an issue, in my case it didn't show the true heart rate readings and didn't send me any notifications (it didn't even give me a high heart rate warning). So although the Sense 2 did give me an indication that something was not right with my heart, it didn't explicitly warn me of any issue.

Feeling a lot better now, a saline drip and beta blockers worked wonders and made me feel myself again. Thank God for the NHS!
