My Fitbit isn’t recognising any exercise. It does record active minutes and steps but no exercise at all since I’ve updated the app. I have checked my settings and reinstalled the app but still having no luck.

Thanks for the suggestions.  
I didn’t pause.  I did restart Fitbit several times. My activities are set for 10 minutes. I don’t have unlimited data so can’t use smart tracker.  Oh well. At least it tells the time 🙄

@Dance2this2000 , Thanks for your answer. 

SmartTrack is the feature to autorecognize the activities. 

You mentioned, that you have the activities to 10 min. 
Try setting each activity to be recognized to different starting times.
