Inspire HR logo stuck

I have been using my Inspire HR fitbit for well over a year and all of a sudden, midday yesterday the logo showed up on the watch face with 001 below it.  It won't track now and I cannot change it.  I turned bluetooth off and on my phone.  Regrettably I thought it may help to detach the device and reattach it but of course my bluetooth is not finding the device at all.

I did nothing different yesterday, was just checking the time and saw the logo and now here we are.

Hoping someone can help me.

Thank you,

@Skeiter I hope you're doing well!

Sorry to hear about this and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. I suggest you restart your tracker by doing the following these instructions:

  1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Connect your device to the charging cable. For instructions, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  3. Press and hold the button or buttons on your tracker for 5 seconds.
  4. Release the button. When you see a smile icon and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.

Hope this helps.

Thank you so much for your reply however it does not seem to work. Last night, before you replied, I noted the happy face and vibrating but did not know what it meant. Now that I am trying to do it on purpose, all I can get is the happy face but no vibrating. I tried Bluetooth with my device again but it won't find the fitbit. And there is no green light on the back anymore.

Do they eventually just run out? I am ok if they do, I am not one to expect things to last forever but it is only a couple of years old at most and I am not doing anything extreme with it, just walking and sleeping 🙂

Thank you again for your reply.

Thank you for suggesting I reach out to the support team. I did end up calling in and getting my Fitbit working again yesterday morning.  Oddly enough, a few hours later it happened again where the logo came up and I couldn't do anything.   I tried the steps again and it did not work so I ignored it while I went about my evening.  Just before bed I noticed it working again but it had decided it was Jan 1 which made me think it is starting over.   I again detached it from my iphone, made my bluetooth forget the device then started again and now it is working and the right time.  Fingers crossed it stays working, otherwise I will call back in for additional support.  Thank you.
