My Inspire HR hasn't been updated since March, 2020. I'm told everything has to go through the mobile app. I've been searching for this for awhile. Can someone please tell me how I can get the updated version of my Inspire HR? I've updated my Inspire HR, but now I need to update my Fitbit app on my phone. Can someone please help?

@TomC29 Thanks for joining us!
If you have an Android device you can follow these instructions to update the app there. If you have an iOS (Apple) phone then please check these instructions.
Hope this helps.

@TomC29 Your device will start recording sleep after it detects an hour of inactivity. If you have a light sleep or move too much then this may difficult your sleep detection. Additionally you can try wearing your device on your non dominant hand to decrease the amount of movement it is subjected to. Finally you can restart your device. You can also manually log your sleep time. You can read more about sleep detection here.
See you around.

I heard this has been a recent problem. My Charge 2 conked out about a month ago, and am thinking of getting the Inspire 2. One thing I really love is the sleep tracking. Did it get straightened out? The reviews on the Charge 5 are so bad I don't want to purchase it.

Well I don't know yet, it's did track the last 2 nights, but I have to put it on the charger every night & restart my Inspire HR every night. Seems I never had to do this before, it all started with the last update that was done on my mobile app. I think I'm going to try & see how it does without restarting my Inspire HR. If it goes back to not tracking, I'm going to try to take it out on my mobile & PC then put it back in again. If I get another one I need to have the tracking for sleeping on it. Helps my sleep Dr.
