I've had a One and Charge HR 2 for a while; they are very good at keeping a live handshake with both my iPhone 6SE and iPad (kudos to Fitbit for allowing multiple sync targets).
I've had the Inspire HR for about a week (hoping to replace the One and Charge), but it loses pairing with the 6SE. I've tried all-day pairing and that is not working either.
It appears I need to open up the app and pull to refresh.

@sugarsmax Welcome to the Fitbit forums!
I would recommend temporarily forgetting the Bluetooth connection to your Inspire HR on your iPad, then toggling All Day Sync with your iPhone. Once that's up and running you should be able to periodically sync with your iPad when needed after reestablishing the Bluetooth connection.
Also, it may be helpful to remove other trackers from your account to get your Inspire HR to sync more consistently. For more tips on multi-device syncing, check out this article.
Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.

Sounds good; I'll give those a try.
With the iOS Notification mirroring, the Inspire is a great balance!

The All-Day Sync and Notifications remain in a spinning "trying to complete" state.
Bluetooth is showing the Inspire as paired.
I've removed the Fitbit app from the iPad, and reduced the iPhone to seeing only the Inspire, not the One or Charge.
Any other recommendations?

Try forgetting the Bluetooth connection on your iPhone. When you try turn on all day sync and notifications again after that it should try to pair again and hopefully that gets you back in business.

I got this yesterday; it synced 1 time, and I have not been able to get it to re-sync. I have tried re-setting the Bluetooth, restarting both devices, and following all prompts from the app. It will no longer sync 😞 I was so excited to get this, I am so disappointed. I do not want to return it, but if I can't get it to sync, there is no point. All software is up to date on both the Fitbit Inspire HR and my Moto E. Help!

Hi @GlitterLife, have you tried clearing the cache from your phone? Sometimes this helps me when I have sync issues. Also, please make sure there are no other Bluetooths on when you try to sync. If that is the case, you will either need to turn them off or move them before syncing.

Try turning your bluetooth off from your other devices (not your phone). This worked for me as any other devices that have bluetooth turned on other than your IPhone or Android are in contention with each other.

Three strikes, it's out. Returning it today.
Updated the firmware, had thought it was working, but today missed a bike ride since it wasn't pairing yet again with the phone.

My inspire hr is completely refusing to connect to my bluetooth on an iPhone 8 in a normal fashion. To get it to connect, I have to toggle the Bluetooth on and off multiple times, along with toggling the sync option on the Fitbit app. Does anyone have suggestions on how to make this stop happening? I don't know if it's a device error or a user error.

I am having the same issue with my iPhone XS. I thought I had to delete and reinstall the Fitbit app but that did not work. I've turned the phone off and back on and that didn't work either.

Call Fitbit. He walked me right through it and it is now working.

I've tried all the suggestions in this chain, but my Inspire HR still does not sync with my Android. It works fine for awhile and then it can't sync anymore. Turned off/on bluetooth, unpaired and paired, Location sync enabled, tried to turn the device off but not sure if that worked (saw a smiley face) when plugged to laptop and held button for longer than 10 sec. Any other help? This is making the device useless as I can't track my sleep or workouts.

I was talking to the helpdesk yesterday, this is a known issue with no remedy as yet. I'm going to wait until the end of the week and if there is no solution its going back....

I just got mine and was having the same trouble. My phone (Pixel 3) then asked if I wanted to add it as a trusted device for Bluetooth and ever since it's worked well. I'm not sure if it's something your phone has the ability to do but it's helped for mine.

I am trying to get my inspire to sync with my phone. I think I might be having trouble because I used to have a different tracker. How would I delete the old tracker and want to delete this one and start over. I used my husbands email since it wouldn't let me use my own (probably has the other tracker synced with that email). I would like to not have him get emails, so thought if I delete both and then just start over. How do I do that? Thanks, Lori

Lori - In the app, to the right of the Fitbit battery indicator is a rectangle with a circle. It looks like an ID card somewhat. If you click on it, you'll see the Fitbits you have on your account. If you select one, there is a trash can icon in the top right that will allow you to delete it. Hope that helps!

I have the same issue with my iPhone XS Max and Inspire HR. Have to force close the FitBit app multiple times before it will sync. Even then it is not consistent. About to go back to my Alta HR.
